Ann Marie Kesler, Alpha Omicron Chapter, was finance chair, parliamentarian, rituals chair and chapter president before continuing service at the state level of DKG.  She was co-chair of the 1992 Fall Function.
Mrs. Kesler, a 6thgrade teacher in the Dunkirk community for many years, was a member of the Alpha Epsilon State Communications Committee, chaired the nominations and membership committees, and was program chairman. Later she was corresponding secretary, recording secretary, second vice-president, first vice-president, and elected as state president for the 2005-2007 biennium.  Ann Marie served as co-chair of the 2004 CCOT seminar for newly-elected chapter officers and chairs.  She was appointed state historian in 2003.
Many DKG friendships were formed because Mrs. Kesler organized a tour of Scandinavia following the 1997 Northeast Regional Conference held in Stockholm, Sweden.
Ann Marie has been active in the local community as president of the Dunkirk City Library Board, served on the Jay County Arts Council, and taught STEP Parenting Skills classes to adults after her retirement as an elementary teacher.  Today she enjoys quilting and creative sewing.
