Members of Omega chapter got together this morning via a Zoom conference call to go over the agenda for their final chapter meeting of this year coming up. Stepping up to the challenge of keeping up with technology!
Omega chapter provided a red rose in a bud vase and a handwritten note to all active educators who are members, delivered in person by Omega members, on Teacher Appreciation Day, May 6, 2019.
Members of Omega chapter were treated to a Tuscan brunch along with photos from a trip to the Tuscany region of Italy, presented by Dr. Jamyce Curtis Banks, on Saturday, Oct. 13. Members donated $10 each, resulting in a donation of $190 to the World Fellowship fund!

Omega members were pleased to present one of two outstanding future teachers with a stipend to help their upcoming college expenses at their April 11 meeting. Omega member Melissa Brown, CEO of Indiana Connections Academy, brought her chapter up-to-date on the state of online public education at a meeting at the Connections Academy headquarters in Indianapolis. Things have changed a lot since we last met there a few years ago!
Faye Snodgress, executive director of Kappa Delta Pi, also shared with Omega members the need for educating for a sustainable future.
