Mrs. Pauline Biddle, Iota Chapter, was honored to have a state scholarship named for her. The $500 scholarship bearing her name was the fifth to be established by the Indiana state organization.
Mrs. Biddle served as state corresponding secretary 1942-1944. Later she was elected first vice-president of the 1946-1948 biennium before assuming the state presidency in 1950-1951. It was at this time that the biennium was to begin in odd-numbered years. She assumed the role of state executive secretary in 1955 and continued for eight years.
At the time of her death, Mrs. Pauline Biddle Conover’s estate established Montgomery County scholarships for high school graduates “to be selected on the basis of need and good character.”
