<channel><title><![CDATA[INDIANA STATE ORGANIZATION DKG SOCIETY INTERNATIONAL - Dr. Judith Raybern]]></title><link><![CDATA[https://www.dkgindiana.org/dr-judith-raybern]]></link><description><![CDATA[Dr. Judith Raybern]]></description><pubDate>Tue, 28 Apr 2026 09:55:09 -0400</pubDate><generator>Weebly</generator><item><title><![CDATA[Dr. Judith Raybern]]></title><link><![CDATA[https://www.dkgindiana.org/dr-judith-raybern/dr-judith-raybern]]></link><comments><![CDATA[https://www.dkgindiana.org/dr-judith-raybern/dr-judith-raybern#comments]]></comments><pubDate>Sat, 01 Sep 2018 23:40:00 GMT</pubDate><category><![CDATA[Uncategorized]]></category><guid isPermaLink="false">https://www.dkgindiana.org/dr-judith-raybern/dr-judith-raybern</guid><description><![CDATA[ Dr. Judith Raybern has fulfilled many responsibilities at all levels of the Society.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was initiated into Beta Gamma Chapter while living in Indianapolis.&nbsp;&nbsp;When her career necessitated relocation, she transferred to Epsilon Chapter, Greencastle.&nbsp;&nbsp;Judy was appointed or elected program chair, recording secretary, 1stvice-president, parliamentarian, and president of the chapter.Judith Raybern served Alpha Epsilon State as co-chair of the 1980 state convention, chai [...] ]]></description><content:encoded><![CDATA[<span class='imgPusher' style='float:left;height:0px'></span><span style='display: table;width:177px;position:relative;float:left;max-width:100%;;clear:left;margin-top:0px;*margin-top:0px'><a><img src="https://www.dkgindiana.org/uploads/1/0/7/7/107780149/published/dr-judith-raybern-1989-1991-pic.jpg?1535845332" style="margin-top: 5px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 10px; border-width:1px;padding:3px; max-width:100%" alt="Picture" class="galleryImageBorder wsite-image" /></a><span style="display: table-caption; caption-side: bottom; font-size: 90%; margin-top: -10px; margin-bottom: 10px; text-align: center;" class="wsite-caption"></span></span> <div class="paragraph" style="text-align:left;display:block;"><font size="5">Dr. Judith Raybern has fulfilled many responsibilities at all levels of the Society.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was initiated into Beta Gamma Chapter while living in Indianapolis.&nbsp;&nbsp;When her career necessitated relocation, she transferred to Epsilon Chapter, Greencastle.&nbsp;&nbsp;Judy was appointed or elected program chair, recording secretary, 1stvice-president, parliamentarian, and president of the chapter.<br />Judith Raybern served Alpha Epsilon State as co-chair of the 1980 state convention, chair of Professional Affairs, recording secretary, parliamentarian and rules chair.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was elected state president in 1989.&nbsp;&nbsp;Later Judy was a member of the 1986 International Convention steering committee, then a member of the 1999 Indianapolis Northeast Regional Conference steering committee.<br />Her list of accomplishments grew to include Northeast Regional commitments such as participant in Leadership Development for incoming state presidents and election to the position of 1996-1998 NERD (Northeast Regional Director).&nbsp;&nbsp;This necessitated long-distance implementation of the 1997 regional conference held in Stockholm, Sweden &ndash; the first DKG conference to be held in Europe.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />Dr. Raybern was a member of the 1983 Golden Gift Leadership/Management Seminar at Baylor University.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was a member of the International Expansion Committee instrumental in forming the Germany State Organization.&nbsp;&nbsp;Judy served as the Expansion Committee chair in 1992 when a third Germany chapter was installed.&nbsp;&nbsp;She later was appointed chair of the 1994 International Program Committee.&nbsp;<br />Dr. Raybern was a member of the Scholarships Committee, chair of Professional Affairs, Program Committee chair, 1998-2000 Nominations Committee; she chaired the committee the following biennium.&nbsp;&nbsp;In 2002 Judy was named chair of the Constitution Committee.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was elected to the DKG Educational Foundation Board of Trustees and was appointed chair of the board during the six-year term.<br />Judith Raybern was recognized by Depauw University as a University Distinguished Professor.&nbsp;&nbsp;She had chaired the Education Department and was instrumental in writing programs, curriculum, and grants.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />Dr. Judith Raybern truly has been a dedicated leader in her chosen field and in the Society.</font></div> <hr style="width:100%;clear:both;visibility:hidden;"></hr>]]></content:encoded></item></channel></rss>
