Mrs. Carol Grieser 1997-1999

Carol Grieser, Alpha Iota president, is known for her love of children’s stories, many shared with kindergarten and first grade students in the Elkhart schools and with DKG members.  She has been a vibrant and dedicated member of her chapter, filling the roles of both music and initiation chair before becoming 2ndvice-president.  
Carol was chair of the professional growth & services committee at the state level before becoming state recording secretary. Two years later she was elected 2ndvice-president of Alpha Epsilon State, then 1stvice-president before being named membership chair in 1993-1995.  She ably served as Alpha Epsilon State president in 1997-1999.
Mrs. Grieser was selected to attend the Golden Gift Leadership/Management Seminar held in Austin, TX in 1991 prior to the international convention.
Carol was a member of the steering committee for the 1986 International Convention and the 1999 Northeast Regional Conference, both in Indianapolis.  She was chair of the 75thYear Celebration of DKG in Indiana.
Carol Grieser has been an active leader in her church and community.  She creatively served as the 2016 president of the Indiana Retired Teachers Association. It is a well-known fact that Carol’s mantra is “getting things done” at school, in the community, and in DKG.
